First day:

Drove up, arrived, settled in, did little else.

Second day:

On the second day I forgot my camera. We did a lovely 8-mile walk up to and around Kinder Plateau though.

Third day:

Took a walk up from Castleton (where we were staying) up the side of Mam Tor. Was not impressed by the condition of the road. ☺

(the road was closed in the late 1970s due to subsidence - the entire side of the hill is gradually sliding downwards).

We also visited some caves, but the pictures didn't come out too well.

Fourth day:

Took a walk along an old railway line:

And then went home.

I could show you more pictures but I think you've suffered enough.
